“Rimbey Mares” – Adopted!

About Havi
UPDATE - no surprise but it did not take long to find Havi a new home. We were overwhelmed with offers to adopt, from throughout the US and Canada. With COVID, and challenges with border crossings, we decided to focus on homes in the US, ideally not too far from where Havi was. We ended up with three strong applications, with two being fairly equal. We consulted with Havi's owner, who chatted with both homes, then made a final decision. This one was tough as both homes would have been amazing! Havi will move to her new home by the end of March, 2021 and we look forward to following her next adventures.
In early March 2021, Havi's owner reached out to ask for help in re-homing. Although Havi is in great health and still being ridden regularly. the owner's health and finances made it impossible to keep her. We were very happy to be given the opportunity to find Havi a new home.
Havi (born in 1998) is a registered Canadian mare, turning 23 in 2021. She is a big gal, standing 16 hands and weighing in at 1,300 lbs! Don't let her size worry you, Havi has wonderful ground manners and is great under saddle. She loves going through the trails and has done many judged trail rides, Hunter Paces, and pleasure rides. She loads and trailers well and is great for the farrier (she is shod all around). She is also great for the vet and is currently up to date on all vaccinations. She is boarded in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA.
As always, we'd prefer to move Havi directly into an adoptive home, ensuring she only has to move once. However, we absolutely will move her into foster care, first. A home in the USA is preferred as border crossings are challening in the COVID environment . . . and expensive.
