Where Are They Now

With Facebook making it challenging to keep track of news and updates, and no ability to tag or categorize information the Canadian Horse Rescue and Re-homing Society has decided to launch a News page. It is still important to follow us on Facebook but exciting news will also be shared here.

Mission

The Society was formed in early 2015; in 2020 we became a Registered Charity. We operate across Canada and into the US. Our goal is to be a resource to owners who need to re-home their Canadian breed horses. We also rescue Canadian Horses from auction and other unsafe situations.

Confidentiality

We will always accept any Canadian horse surrendered by its owners regardless of circumstances or history. We pride ourselves on being a judgement and discrimination free society. Please know that any and all contact with us will be kept confidential. We provide a safe environment for both potential adopters/foster homes as well as surrenders.
